Submission Guidelines
-
Eligibility: Open to queer filmmakers and allies, particularly from regions where LGBTQ+ expression is restricted.
-
Film content: Works must resonate with LGBTQ+ audiences. Allies may submit only if the film meaningfully engages with queer themes, stories, or communities.
-
Geographic scope: While our focus is on films from oppressive regimes, we accept works from all regions, as long as they contribute to our mission of amplifying underrepresented queer voices.
-
Production conditions: There is no limit on year of production. Films may have been previously screened, distributed, or shared online. Premiere status is not required.
-
Identity & privacy: We respect the safety of filmmakers at risk. Submissions may be credited under pseudonyms or collective names if needed.
-
Age restrictions: Filmmakers under 18 may submit with guardian consent or through a collective/organisation acting on their behalf.
-
Film Length: Short films under 30 minutes are preferred.
-
Language: All languages are welcome; however, English or French subtitles must be provided.
-
Submission Fee: None. We believe in accessible opportunities for all artists.
-
Screening Format: Full HD or 4K digital file.
