Under the Radar: Screenings + Workshops
A transformative gathering—grounded in art, resistance, and impactful conversation across borders.
Service Description
Under the Radar is a community-rooted, hybrid film event that fuses rare poetic cinema with heartfelt talkbacks, creative workshops, and healing conversations. Curated by Karin Hazé with queer artists from around the world — often working under censorship, in exile, or within oppressive regimes — it offers an immersive, transformative gathering grounded in care, resistance, and collective imagination. Each event is more than a screening: it’s a living space for dialogue, storytelling, and creative exchange. Audiences are invited to engage deeply with lived experiences and non-linear narratives that uplift, challenge, and connect across borders and identities. Ready to Collaborate? We partner with organizations, collectives, and venues who are passionate about art, community, and social justice. Under the Radar events can include: Film screenings Interactive Q&As and talkbacks Workshops and performances Public speaking, readings and critical discussions Whether in a conference, community centre, classroom, gallery, studio, or public space, we adapt to your context with care and collaboration.
